Akhirnya gagah jugak aku nak buat entry ni...it gonna be in series but since most of the pix already posted on MukaBuku, I'll put a few here

This is my itinerary (planned & actual), copied from my original word doc hehe yeah I know..I can be owhh-verr sometimes but it helped a lot to be over-prepared when you're in foreignland. Some were axed coz we're too flat & kids needed extra Zzzz. Some added later. That's why I love DIY-trip compared to package-trip.

Reno : The MESS has started..

We’re hacking walls, floors and doors to turn it into our little hut.

The actual work started last Monday, 2^nd Nov 2009, which is also my 1^st day in the new dept. Wrong timing I would say, coz I got distracted by so many things, be it the deco, the wiring, the lights & fan points. Add my cerewet-ness + kedekut-ness, one BIG HEADACHE.

We had our 1^st visit on the 3^rd day…guess what…they’re almost done with the hacking which I think quite extensive. Well done well done

My kitchen is now wall-less, gonna be extended right to the last inch. But I’m not converting my entire backyard into kitchen coz I dowan to include the stinky manhole as part of my kitchen accessory hehe

Another wall hacked to have that spacious feeling, feeling only maaa..umahnya kecik gak hehe. The opposite will be bibik’s room and the storeroom would be the last space to be looked into.

The kid’s room, the doors was not aligned. Look at the floor, u’ll know the position of the original door. Considering that their rooms are not spacious, I asked the contractor to build a sliding door for both rooms. Swing door takes more space. Slide & align. So very anak en. jusoh

Their naco-type windows changed to alu-frame panel window, so boleh kuak kasik mmasuk angin dan nyamuk.

Another view from that window, see the manhole? My new kitchen will be up to that length only, the rest will be converted into a see-through-roofed-backyard enuff for laundry & big work (bekwoh kato ore alik kelate J ). The existing sink from the kitchen will be installed on-top of the manhole.

The letter box & refuse chamber oso got hacked just becoz I want to get an extra 2-feet for my gate hehe.

Ini worang ah..suda balik bangladesh juga, tada mari lagi, suda *5 jari pusing* - sendiri imagine la cemana aku pun kepala putar2 jgk cakap hahaha

The water meter will be build inside the refuse chamber with a see-through-window. That boulder will be demolished.

I was away from home for 3 days (5-7 Nov) to play in my ‘ritual’ pingpong tournament. Still dragging my feet, Sunday morning went to Nilai to get tiles, wash-basin, timber door + accessories. Not to forget the lights and all. Suddenly, chandelier looks good which is sign that I’m not thinking straight. We gave-up and surrendered after being flashed by LED lights. Can’t proceed with fan-hunting coz we oredi had headache and twitching eyes. The shopping trip was guided by my contractor(s) & by the tukang, Abg Usop. TQ to all of ‘them’ who are willing to layan a very cerewet & rambang mata client. Damn, after looking at the tiles & its prices, I feel like fitting it all on my porch + backyard (ori plan patutnya plain concrete jek hehe).

We parked all stuffs in the new house since the worker is staying there. Lucky us coz we spotted them doing the perimeter walls ala prison when what we asked is make an air-hole about 4x20inch. Asked them to stop and we rushed to neighbor’s house to snap some pix and showed it to them. They’re good, immediate action taken.Clap! Clap! On Monday after office we rempit and saw that it was done according to what we specified but they have yet to plaster, so I don’t know how big the air-hole would be. One of the worker went back to Bangladesh for good. Yes, we use Bangla so rasi sikit ngan tuan rumah yang ala2 jgk hahaha ampun Abang(la)..mak pun kata Ayang mcm depa. muah muah (kang x dapek baby fan)

2^nd trip to Nilai is due soon, to pickup some tiles that we ordered (still looking for tiles mcm kat bwh, old style one coz the latest all came in bright color & clear mosaic. I want the kusam color & solid mosaic). Oso to get the timber door based on correct measurement as well as another trip to Nilai3 to ‘menilai’ adakah harus aku membeli baby fan yg sgt cute ini haha

Few weeks ago, Chenta aka laki Dd tanya the location of our new house. Misteri sungguh..Bukan 2, bukan 3 malah ramai lagi yg x leh nak imagine..kat mana la budak ni beli rumah. hahaha.

Jadi sama2lah kita melihat tapak lokasi kejadian dari pandangan satelit. Gambor jaman bila ntah ni, 3 thn lepas kot...wello inchik Gugel, soh la satelit ko dtg sini lagi...

Haa...landmark, haruslah UIA kan ? Yang tanda A tuh entrance dia...korang ke depan sket, amek kanan kat trafik light leh tembus Karak Hiway, tercongok Tol Gombak kat situ.

Sekiranya korang tak belok kanan dan meneruskan perjalanan, jangan risau, habis2 teruk pun korang jumpa jalan mati kat ujung Kg Sg Pusu tu hah..iaitu yang bertanda B. Sila patah balik..

Nampak tanah gondrong sebelah exhibit B dan D tuh ? :tetiba mcm kat court plak: Haaaa...cemanalah aku boleh beli rumah kat sini wakakaka tu misteri yang aku ngan laki aku jek leh jawab.

Memang benar, rumah kami sangat di hulu hutan banat...kena rempuh hutan khatulistiwa bagai. Yang gelap ala2 mcm pulau kat bawah adalah Empangan Ba-2. Kalau korang rasa nak buat trip hiking ke mancing ke, leh la buat pit-stop umah aku kekeke

Tgk jalan mcm trek F1 tuh, jangan tertipu tuan-tuan. Dia adalah sangat mendaki dan aku pun tak sure lori 1Kea leh panjat ke tak ..huhu. Yang mcm dah siap tuh Fasa 1, umah aku (myHaven kunun) Fasa 2, masa ni baru rangka, yang lawaknya depa terpaksa stop keje fasa 2 yang agak pantas berbanding fasa 1 (kontraktor lain2). Dah kau Fasa 2, apehal la plak siap dulu..gitu la kot falfasah developer tuh. Yang nampak macam 3 segi sebelah bawah tulah cerun bukit yg jadik kontroversi sampai abang x-MB naik tengok, org TVTiga duk turun naik...last2 haram x dak solution pun.

Raya la pulak...

Ish ish..kejap je posanya..dh abis pun...aku rasa posa aku tahun ni mcm better sbb aku dpt pi terawih pastu aku dpt masak untuk family much2 more than before.

Cuma part 'beraye' je blom pass. Acara melawat sedare sgt kurang baik belah T'ganu or Gombak. Agaknya sebab dh terbiasa camtu. Parents Man not the type yg bawak anak2 round umah sedare sbb my FIL expecting the younger generation (anak2 sedare dia) to come and visit him. Secara propernya, he should not be visiting them..haa gitu konsepnya. He's 2nd last out of 13. So we have many cousins yg older than my parents. Belah T'ganu pulak suka jenjalan tapi dulu2 x de transport, family aku kan semekin. Lama2 dh jadik rutin duduk umah raya sendiri & balik kg jumpa atok & nenek jek. Itu mcm agak senang nak ubah compared to belah G0mbak. Tapi tak terubah2 pun. Jiran plak baru je 1 ,2 rumah. Apa nak jadik la nih...ni dh berapa kali berangan daaaa..sampai lani duk camtu gak.

So kononnya tahun ni x nak berkira..biar orang x dtg umah kita, kita pegi je raye umah dia. Mana tau org tu pun tggu kita dtg umah dia dulu baru dia nk balas kunjung kan ? Masih mode angan2 juga..x tau la jadik ke tak lagi... tungguuu

Another Sad Episode..

Next Monday, 3 August 2009, will be the day when my 1st dept in the Co. will be dissolved into nothing. People who were fighting for the 'function' to exist were no longer there.

I's quite a sad day for us and for me who grew with it since 2001. From a small section in a department, it was taken out to be a unit of about 50 and later upgraded to be a department with almost 100. Only to be reduced to NOTHING in less than 10years.

The management's idea was noble and and ideal but have they taken into consideration the staff readiness? Expecting a pure IT auditor to do financial and vice versa within 6 months is like...WhosTheFatherlah...So sick lah, telling auditees to be in control, governance, risk monitoring, communication, continuous assessment...blabla when in fact, u know... They should be checking & assessing the middle management instead of taking whatever bullshit & twisted facts these people were telling. Root cause, please.

I just want to do my work without being overburden with unnecessary stuffs due to other people's incompetency. I've been doing this for quite sometimes but I have never seen subordinate being 'USED' & 'SQUEEZED' like this. In here, it's hard to find a manager who can do their job, but if you want to find one who can kipas & ask people around to do EVERYTHING., very de easy. Tell you, even nak set date for meeting with someone in our own office pun kena call kami yg kat onsite ni. Dah kami susah payah dpt date, nak kata tolong konpemkan pun x leh. Kami jugak yg jauh dari opis ni nak kena call or email. Sanggup call kami back and forth daripada make 1 damn call to the PA.

Imaginelah klu benda sesimple tu pun xleh eh bukan x leh, tak mau handle, yg lain2 ?

So many restrictions on us as if we're not human. Cannot this cannot that, even training oso cannot attend. Cuti kena kensel. stay in the office = tak pi onsite ka ? pegi direct onsite = where's rose ? nak gi jamban = where r u going ? juz bcoz bwk pouch lipstick. Lama2 kematu jugak aku. Tabik spring toing2 la kat org lama yg bleh thn walopon 5minit skali ngumpat berjemaah. I cant be in a place where you HAVE TO bitch the boss like 24x7. It's killing me bebeh...stay & shut-up or leave & be happy.

Pastu, aku baru tau aku ada sebijik henpon yang intelligent, dah pecah skrin sumer pun elok je boleh pakai..tiba2 hari Jumaat mcm sengal, see..timing baik punya. Org call x leh dengar sore aku...mati2 aku ingat diorang yg pekak. hello.. hello.. hellloooooooooo... pastu secara misteri angin xdak ribut takdak tiba-tiba '2 missed call'..apakah ? Sia2 aku kena marah ngan laki aku 'Apsal x jwb phone??' (insert muka b'kerut + inesen kat sini)

Rupa2nya ada org nak belikan yang baru..eh susah susah je, 'err tokei, wane merah ye'....TQ Yang..klu I x jwb phone anggapkan saja I tgh terkial2 nak godek menatang ni.

On Monday, sebab sayang laki lebih dari sayangkan Giggs maka aku selebret secara berdua2an. Ni kira tahun pertama (lps 10 tahun) kami dgn rasa x bersalah kuar selebret & dating mlm2. (time 10th anni. pun gitu w'pon pkl10pm lari balik ambik Hannah) Sbb malas nak jalan jauh2 aku suggest layan buffet kat bawah opis yg aku audit skarang. Man kata after 6.30 la dia gerak dr opis. Citer lawak masa aku tggu (bg aku la, tp mmg x lawak klu tnya Man erk.ampun). Aku ngantuk gilabab, godek alarm kt henpon baru. Bila sedar tgk jam 6.30, tp apsal kt luar gelap ek..tenung jam lagi..ceh apa aku mamai ni..dh 7.30 !! kelamkabut bukak henpon...ambik kau 9 missed call. Sia2 henpon baru.....maka aku ngan mamainya turun bawah makan apa yg patut.

Achievement, 1st time ever. I didn't hit the dessert counter AT ALL. which means I also broke my dessert-always-comes-1st routine yay..

Konon2 rasa x bersalah ye..blom apa2 tringat kat bdk2...by 9 dh rushing back. Given all the hugs and kisses at the door as usual and later they gave me these. Ni pasti tektik subahat dgn babah (coz he knew I wanted IsseyMiyake) but I'm still touched..especially when reading the card. Adan offered to read it..uhukuhuk berebut time nak ambik gambar dgn beg hadiah masing2 and Hannah declared 'Ni hadiah ibu ngan Hannah'..semerbak anak aku sepanjang malam :)

Hannah's Birthday on 10th July 2009. She's 3

Since dah ada gambar yg boleh upload, jln la entry ni dulu hehe

Tapi mcm nak kena cerita jugak, kejadian2 yg berlaku 1 week before the party. I planned to do a real party for her (read: jemput koranglah..hehe) but on Wed, aku found out that she had HFMD..itu kakitanganmulut diseaselah, a mild mild one. Even the symptoms pun kluar sikit2 since Sat. Mula dgn dia sakit mulut (but no ulcer i.e. the classic symptom) & smelly breath..jenuh la aku duk telek mulut dia. Abih yg tu dia demam panas, sambung dgn mual2 mcm nk muntah then last baru kuar the rashes (not even blister, another telltale). The only thing yg ring the bell bila rashes tu kuar kat siku, lutut & bontot..dah lama baru nampak yg kat tapak tgn & kaki. Cpt2 call Eline since dia ada exp. Hannah being Hannah, memang x dak ropa org sakit...

So umah kami pun jadik la spital, bau dettol. Sib baik bibik boleh harap bab ni. Really appreciate her effort handwash baju ngan air panas + dettol and mop the whole house like few times a day.

Tulah kesahnya kenapa aku x jadi buat majlis. So since Hannah dh tau party tu apakebende maka kena la jugak buat ala2. Amek syarat ada kek, ada lilin, ada belon, ada present hehe cukuplah tu.

Bab present pun ada cerita jugak, jauh hadiah tu berjalan. Sib baik 'org tu' tak charge kos stor bergerak dia hehe Aku beli present masa Isetan Sale pastu sesambil tu tolong belikan borongkan susu Iman, when Dd picked-up the susu, aku pun gatai tumpang the present & my Visions double-boiler (yay!!) konon esoknya nk pegi ambik la nun di Kajang..Alih2 Next Fri bru aku amek balik from the same spot..Isetan KLCC. Sowii babe and sowi Iman, nanti soh mummy beli ye hahaha. I bought her another Lego Duplo, Supermarket set.

Import my sisters to do the cooking since babah blom beli present. Kami rempit to KLCC beli MegaBloks Mickey Mouse ClubHouse ngan Elmo which she wont touch huhu Adan& Along bagi Princess-themed kamera & walkie talkie set and Aciq bagi teddy, nicknamed Oyeng due to its color.

Another 4 weeks in hiatus...I had so many things to look at now work-wise, household-wise. Dgn 2 tangan & kaki pendek ni, tak mampu nak kejar.

Angan2 nk edit gambar cantik2 pastu baru upload mmg angan2 je lah. Byk gila event yg missed, even those yg x de gmar...haishh.

Off Somewhere Down Under

By now...I maybe dozing off onboard of MH141 heading Down Under. A very short transit at Sydney, before landing at Brisbane and whisk-off by airport coach transfer to the sunny & chilly land of Goldie.

Since we had some 'agenda' tonite and tomorrow...I would like to congratulate myself and hubby for being able to hold on to this sacred married life..

• no matter how annoying I can be
• no matter how you hated me when I started nagging
• no matter how bengkek you were when I kept on saying 'jap lagi, 5 min lagi' when you woke me up every morning
• no matter how disrecpectful I was to buldoze some of your decisions
• no matter how rude I was to give you THE LOOK when I was against you scolding the kids
• no matter how dissappointed you were when I gave excuses not to ehem ehem

many many more

I'm sorry if I were too dominant but then you have your own part that I have to bear with. So in the end we are to accept and tolerate what's best and what's worst in each other.

We never had a grand wedding

We never had a 'real' honeymoon

We never had time to travel the world

We never had enuff money to spend for ourself until lately

We never had so many things to compare to others

But we had each other when we had nothing else

After 10 solid years and 3 big kids I think we deserve to celebrate 'US BEING TOGETHER' in a more grand manner.

ala2 x sempat nak catch-up ni.

Gila byk citer x sempat nk dijadikan cerita kat sini. Even event bulan March pun bila aku ingat2 balik ada yg tertinggal. Sbbnya...aku klu nk recall kejadian tgk gambar dlm folder. Klu x bwk kamera time tu, selamat jln romeo la jwbnya.

Korang sabar ye....nanti muntah ijo plak tgk entry aku x putus2 pasni.

Warning kepada diri sendrik : Dah 3 minggu ko x jejak gym, dah 3 minggu ko makan minum sesedap rasa tok nenek ko. Tapi sib baik ko byk keje, siang mlm x leh tido pastu last week satu dunia demam..maka berat ko maintain. Pasni keje x bz, anak2 dh sihat ko jgn ngengades and kekonon risau berat naik balik. Lu pikirla senirik...

No matter how challenging it was or it gonna be, ibu and babah will be there for you. Thinking of all the pain that you have been through and the fact that you rarely shed a single tear even when they poked a giant needle or when they pushed 10-20ml of drugs into your body every few hours for so many years..it made me realise that you're actually stronger than me. I don't know how you can cope with all that...

Thank you Allah for the gift, for giving us this boy. This sweet dimpled smile boy. Ahh..that dimple brought me back to the moment when you were juz 3 days old and I thought I hadn't had a chance to kiss you before the surgery, the moment when the nurse noticed me and held the OT door with her legs, the moment when you suddenly opened you big eyes and smiled at me showing that dimples of yours, the moment the nurses cried with me when I can't kiss you coz there's too many tubes and I can't tiptoe with my c-sec scar, the moment that was carved deeply in my heart, it won't get erased.

Being able to see you growing-up, cheeky, sneaky and sometimes rasa nak aje 'bagi'...all the ups and down. That's priceless.

Happy birthday Adan, love you. Nak siku ke ? hahaha
