Next day lepas sukan Adan, 6 July 2008, kami bangun awal lagi sbb Along ada grading exam taekwon-do kat sekolah. Sampai jek kami lepak dulu tgk diorang dok warm-up, master yg nak evaluate exam x nampak pon, instructor ngan assistant jek ada...

Hannah & Adan cam biasa ah, dah mula rimas nak lari sana sini, so kitorang pun blah gi breakfast jap. Tgh babah dia suap cebisan-cebisan akhir roti canai, tetiba...

hukelleh....kelam kabut jap, aiyoh kesian anak ibu..sorry ye Along, ibu & babah tak sempat tgk along tunjuk skill along tu ye...bukan lama pon kami makan...rupa2nya exam budak white belt ni simple jek my opismate citer. Anak dia classmate Hanis.

Btw, that's the first time we let her to carry a handphone, berdebor jgk sbbnya beg dia letak kat belakang dewan. Skill pakai hp ni nak kena ajar jugak, in case ada emergency. Alhamdulillah Hanis dh hafal2 no phone yang penting, next Adan plak ni...anak teruna ni mencabar sikit caranya...

So, nak mengcover rasa bersalah, babah dia tanya nak breakfast kat mana since she's the only one yg blom breakfast. Laju jek dia jawab...McD !! Berbondonglah kami ke McD.

Seperti yang dijangkakan, ada org buat moncong, konon tadi dia mkn roti canai, yang ni hotcake aka pancake. Malas nak ku layan moncong itu...tgk la muka dia lepas dpt...kan main...bukan habis pon...saja jeles

Lama dah ni, 05.07.2008 tp asyik tangguh nak upload sbb gambornyer x godek lagi. Dah siap gambor malas la plak nak mengarang. Tgk je la pa yang ada...

Untuk pengetahuan korang, ni kali ke-4 berturut2 kitorang melepak kat sini tau since year 2005, lepas Hanis sambung plak Adan, kat sini la jugak aku terbeli quilt yg sungguh comei ala2 english tp haram x pakai, kat sini la jgk aku ngan selambanya dtg temankan Hanis masa 25hari dlm pantang pas bersalin Hannah (tu kat bwh tu haaa..) kehkehkeh kat situlah jugak aku gila kuasa takeover uruskan budak2 kat khemah sbb cikgu sebok psl acara sampai lupa budak2 x minum since 8am...

So starting next year, x de lagi dah lawatan ke Stadium UIA. Gonna miss that...especially nengok bebudak girang gumbira...

Having 2nd Thought

Dear friends, TQ for ur tips. After reading your comments, I'm having a 2nd thought about owning that delicious 2in1 microwave oven itu. Hehe...teruja ngan ropanya yg sgt santek...itu saja...x pikir plak psl my cooking style. Cewwah..mcm la kitchen goddess sangat hahaha

Reason being ? Selama hidup aku memang x pernah ada microwave, umah mak aku lagi la takde. Kat opis pakai just to reheat my food. Pendek kata boleh sesangat la survive without it.

But I do heart oven, I use it for baking, grilling fish and chicken esp chicwings and setahun skali buat bakar biskut raya...the one yang aku pakai sikalang adalah yg sgt murah tp byk berjasa dengan tajuk pensonic...bila abis bakar bunyi ketingggg !! cam sydde ckp tuh hehehe tapi dia sudah retire sbb wayarnya hancus digerit Cik Ti, kang x psl2 aku kena karen jadik cam chicwing aku gak.

So, ambik syarat rasanya nak beli gak microwave, alcheapo one sbb mmg aku jarang pakai and will survey for built-in oven. Suka sangat...yang, yang.. nanti nak masuk umah budget utk oven ni bleh la pegi ke tempat lain ek...(sure laki aku hantuk kepala...)

Sambil2 tu ambik iktibar ayat sorang contractor ni bila ditanya, what is the most essential item in the kitchen ? ??

A COOK...dush!! dush!! ya betooolllll.....

My turn la plak

I've been salivating over PDAs so it's no secret that I wish I can get my hands on it come my birthday. But then, I 'harassed' my colleagues' PDA, mcm2 spesis ada...ku try, ku pegang , ku gosok, ku picit bagai...akhirnya aku rasa....I'm just not the PDA-type and thinking how i'm gonna handle it while struggling with the kids add another -ve point to it. So, no PDA for me this year (another hint tu ye yang), I'll stick to my tembun 5300 yg makin kiut sejak2 aku letak pink bear hehe

So, selfish-ness aside, I think I'll let hubby buy a more practical gift. Masa pi beli present for our neighbor's wedding, mata aku terjeling benda alah ni..

2 in 1 microwave oven, can grill oso. This gonna be my very 1st microwave ever hahaha Hari Ini Dalam Sejarah...all this while, I do all the reheating the ol skool way...steaming with the piuk kukus 2 tingkat itu.

My only worry is that, this is a tabletop unit so it's not advisable to fit it in built-in kitcab. It's due to the position of inverter or something. So I need to visualise whether I'll have enuff space to put this giant on my tabletop ( Width : 61.1cm) . Tadi sempat berYM ngan Ezzah, her version is smaller and she said as long as jaga elok2 this should last long enough but the letdown is : it takes forever to roast.

I'm gonna do some survey whether they have same model for built-in. Aku sudah jatuh chenta hahaha

Sebenarnya, ni kira ubah gaya hiduplah ni kehkehkeh, so instead of aku beli oven gabak cam Dd and another microwave to be fitted in, aku downsize selera aku and spend about 1/2 the cost. So time nak masuk umah nanti x yah dah nak beli....owh...tetiba aku rasa aku sungguh bijak dan mithali sekali...

So we'll see whether I'll get it or not (please, please)...hubby might have different ideas.

Few nights ago, Thursday kot, saja nak try tempat ni plak, ye la everytime nak gi beli groceries, teleng2 kepala tgk signboard cam grand hehe this outlet is in Alpha Angle area, those coming from Jln Genting Klang, just take the left turn, same direction to C4 W.Maju, this outlet is on your left, right after the turn.

Based on tekak and sifat keibuan aku yang amat tinggi ni maka aku bolehla conclude :

0. Konsep - They have ala carte menu. Stimbot mlm jek start at 6 or 7 till 11pm, tapi x dak tempat grill tau. Brg2 bakar ada station dia kat entrance. We opted for steamboat buffet with tomyam and sup ekor (hence the name : Kak Eita Restoran Sup Ekor Stimbot), the pot divided into 2. Satu lagi sup aku lopa la, chicken soup kot..Dory sungguh la aku ni.

1. Ambience - very good, tables were spaced out generously to cater for anak2 yg jakun lasak dan bukan spesis fine-dining cam anak aku. The entrance is more like a garden, x sempat snap. Toilet clean ye puan-puan. Parking senang dpt, kami pi weekdays

2. Service - very fast and penuh sopan dan mesra, klu ko jenis yg tamak ala2 3 pinggan skali angkut, diorg offer to bring to ur table. The pot came within 5min and drinks about 10min later. That's fast. (Those with little kids will appreciate this very very much)

3. Buffet spread - quite good walaupun takde udang yg masih tergetik2 but still reasonable. medium size prawns, fish, sutun, fresh veggies and mushroom, nooddles, scallop mallop bagai x de bau, still fresh. Apalagi ek...mmm all those balls ala2 yong taufu, fried rice, few homecooked dishes, satay, rojak buah, aiskrim and fruits.

4. Price - Steamboat Buffet : Adult RM25 ; Kid RM5 (very cheap). Masuk drinks apabala sumer for 2A2K dlm RM80++

Verdict from tekakku : the soup a bit spicy and hot for kids to enjoy. Rasanya agak kureng walaupun ada dua tiga ketul ekoq dlm sup tuh, the sauce kira ok. Lepas dh rendam celup, kacau segala mcm...closing ceremony dia, masukla mee, slalunyakan by that time sup tu surely ala2 marbeles ngan mcm2 perisa, yang ni kira okla...bolehla. Adan yg suka tomyam pun x laju sgt. However, berdasarkan sebab2 nun di atas, it's worth it, kanak2 ribena suka tmpt tu. Cuma Hanis the-Perut-Melayu-Girl dissapointed that no nasik putih offerred.

Maka aku dengan ini meluluskan usul untuk membawa anak2 yg kecik tomei cam Hannah ke acara stimbot. Coca here we come again....

Al-Fatihah - Be Strong Che Mah

Ezzah baru sms bgtau anak Che Mah yang bongsu, Miqael Rayyan passed away this afternoon at 1.30pm. He'll be buried today. I'm still trying to reach her to no avail. Hope can reach her thru her hubby, Faisel.

Update :

Me, Ezzah n Dd went to ziarah on the same day. Merempit from opis wit hubby. Her hubby is my hubby's batchmate from our Sintok days.

Rayyan is only 3mths++, very very little. Based on what che mah told us, he's one healthy boy, tembun, fair skin with rambut kerinting, so cute (we saw his pix from digicam). No health problem at all. So you can imagine the shock and sadness.

This is from what I can gather, Ezz n Dd sila betulkan if ada yg salah, I was not focusing cause my mind is with my 3 kids at babysitter's place.

Her maid called around noon telling that there's a blood coming out from Rayyan's nose, he's having his usual morning nap at that time. The way she described, it's not bleeding where blood whooshing but more to mixture of blood and mucus. She told the maid to check the temperature and everything. Next call from her neighbor, they helped to bring the baby to the clinic and later referred to Ampang Putri. He was pronounced dead at 1.30pm. Cause of death (on cert) : Sudden death. According to her, no evidence of abuse by the maid.

Dia terkilan for taking things for granted, she wasn't in hurry to be with the baby because the way her maid & neighbor described the whole situation seems like all is ok, not knowing that the baby is fighting for his life. She even called her hubby and asked him to go back home first to get their insurance card so that it's easier for admission, the maid also went there to bring all the baby clothes. She didn't blame her neighbor though, more to herself for failing to capture the message. Both of them didn't get the chance to be with their baby during his last moment. Kata org dah sampai masanya, nothing can stop it kan, Allah Maha Kuasa, but she's in grievance and shock state, we can understand her situation.

She broke down few times while we were there. I feel like flying back home to be with my kids. I miss them like hell especially when she said 'Jaga anak ko elok2' when I was about to leave. I left around 9pm with teary eyed all the way home.

All fitted in, aku suka this type of flush instead of the pull type. Nak kena belajar godek la plak nih. Yang pull tu pejam mata aku boleh fix. Kalaulah boleh ku tukar dgn flush yg bleh jimat air hehe alaaa yg ada 2 button tuh, 1/2 & full, half for pee pee and full for poo poo

Adoila...tang ni la plak dia bocor, ni kat masterbed, tmpt paling seshuai letak wardrobe. Kerching kerching kaya tokei bumbung.

Aku tertanya2 apa lah ke halnya tingkap cenonet itu, x bley ke buat kasik sama jek, design statement ke hape ni ?? AKu bercadang untuk menutup itu balkoni...x koser nak buat tmn mini (Ayat angel : cuba bawak bersyukur sket)

Amin amin ya Allah bukakkanlah hati developer aku untuk buat playground kat sini. Hehe Tengok ujung sana cam ada sayup2 nampak puncak bukit, haa tulah tandanya betapa tingginya umah kami.

Ye kengkawan, itulah bukit yang di tarah & jadik kontroversi sampai masuk TVThree, sampai abang x-MB dtg. Di belakang bukit itu adalah empangan Batu. Sapa nak pi trekking singgah umah kami ekk...

So now another headache-inducing part. Preparing the house according to our needs, taste (and budget). Luckily, kengkawan ku sumer dh expert bab2 ni, so from now on, do expect me bombarding you with questions on this and that.

Actually we went up ( yeah, u really have to GO UP to reach my house) last weekend, photos taken but in hubby's HP. Will upload tomorrow.

Alhamdulillah, but until I have the real keys in my hand, I won't be hoping. Enough with hoping. Dd, we haven't started planning any deco & reno works yet. Perasaan nak menghias bagai dah hilang dek lama sangat menunggu.

But still... Alhamdulillah syukur syukur

Funding The Habit

I do admit, I have a bad habit, I'm shopaholic. While chatting at cafe, somebody asked me how do I FUND my habit...hahaha cam lawak jek soklan dia (dia x de la guna perkataan fund tuh). Aku tanya dia kenapa ? Dia kata sbb gaji (bersih) dia pun ala2 sama ngan aku tapi mcm x boleh nak beli apa2 sangat. Dia tau aku ni pegi mana pun ada jek bwk balik plastik bag kat tangan, belum lagi klu pi shopping complex...memang dasar shopaholic.

BTW, shopaholic not necessarily buying expensive stuffs okay...you are shopaholic when you cannot resist the urge to buy...anything, anywhere, anytime. You tend to buy things that u want instead of things that u need. Ada je lah benda ko nak beli even hair clip or screwdriver kat kedai 2hengget.

So, how do i fund ? Camana ek nak citer mmmm...sebenarnya aku ni banyak 'tabung cap ayam', tapi virtual, details maintain dlm excel, $$ lumpsum dlm current account...aku ada tabung present, aku ada tabung tupperware, aku ada tabung handbag and many more, tengok apa yg tetiba aku rasa nak beli tp x mampu nak beli on the spot, maka akan wujudlah tabungan itu. Tiap2 bulan lepas gaji, dah tolak loan rumah, PCB, zakat, bayar bil api air astro TM, saving wajib blabla...tinggal la seciput (gaji agensi gomen maa berapa la sangat) aku congak la berapa nak allocate for belanja hari2 sampai next payday. Pastu aku masuk la tabung sana sikit, situ sikit..kadang2 klu kasut yang aku aim dah x de, aku masuk la portion tu dalam tabung lain. Cam lawak je kan, tapi pada aku cam best jek. Kadang klu tetiba UdaOcean sblh opis aku sale baju budak2, tipah mmg x thn klu bab ni, aku mula la mabuk...so licin la balik tabung2 aku tuh.

Tapi seperti biasala kan, x sumer benda yang aku pakai ni aku beli sendiri, yang mahal2 sket hubby sponsor 2,3x setahun. Hehe...yang lain2 ni lately aku ngendeng2 gak kat hubby sbb dia sudah 'masyuk' compared to dolu2. Bertahun2 susah bersama ngan gaji ciput, sesak sana sini, x cukup sana ambik kat sini, skarang boleh la kot nompang senang sket...hehe teringat lak kat somebody yang sedih sbb hubby dia x bagi duit belanja bulan2. Aku gelak je la sbbnya gaji dia memang 100% untuk dia, belanja lain2 sumer husband dia cover even dia nak beli apa2 untuk kegunaan rumah cam beli lauk, beli bedsheet sumer claim balik. Itu macam kalu...aci ke sedih lagi ?? Klu aku dah yipppeee...

Ok sambung citer tabung ayam aku balik, end of month klu tetiba ada surplus, katalah ada 200 lagi balance on payday, yang tu samada aku akan hoyay dengan jayanya sebagaimana peribahasa, dengar guruh di langit air di tempayan dicurahkan atau klu time aku insaf sket aku tambah kat saving, tak bleh tambah kat tabung ayam tau.... Lagi satu, as zira mentioned in her blog, silalah bayar credit card anda in full mulai bulan ini. Treat your credit card more like a charge or debit card. Dgn kata lain beli klu ada budget nak membayar. Different banks offer different baits so do your homework and get the lowest rate. Why is it important ? and dangerous : finance charges will be imposed on the transaction starting from the posting date (no more 20 days interest free) if you still have outstanding amount.

Ayat2 (cinta) untuk diri sendiri : Duit2 tabung tu klu simpan dah boleh pegi *****, takpun bagi anak yatim lagi byk pekdah...huhu aku akan coba.
