The new agreement form stated that majikan to pay minimum salary ofRM600 (based on input that majikan yang letak lower sumer kena panggil) dan requirment 1 day off. Bab cuti no hal coz even now my maid dah ala2 cuti half-day everyday. But for those who are currently paying below RM600 (like moi) pandai2 la deal. I was lucky coz my maid understood why we are not paying that much YET. She will get it but not now. So, we just put Rm600 as her salary in that agreement but in actual still maintained @RM550. My colleague was not so lucky, the maid demanded to be paid RM600 tho she's quite new & her performance was below par. So, part ni rezeki masing-masing.
Fill-up the forms and the maid will Q to be photographed. Lepas tu boleh la tinggalkan dia dengan ucapan 'Selamat meneruskan perjuangan dari kaunter ke kaunter'. Make sure she memorise the nombor giliran. Kang duk berangan or menggedik sampai lupa no sendiri. Anda sebagai majikan boleh mula mencari port best utk layan gajet atau boleh keluar merayau dekat2 situ dan berpeluang kena caj lunch bakso + teh o ais = 7 ke 8 hengget. Kos passport hanya RM18, gila babeng murah. Kalau buat 10 pun still lagi murah dari passport 1M'sia !!
* Kitorang buat bulan March aritu lagi, saje je letak sini kot ada keperluan di masa hadapan, x yah nk kelam-kabut tanya en.Gugel or kekawan.
* Kalau tetiba aku ter-rajin, aku buat plak cemana nak buat permit maid DIY especially untuk kes yang maid tu dah ada kat M'sia. Dulu aku tak tau so masa nak ambik 1st maid, free2 aku sedekah kat ejen RM2.5k utk uruskan when in fact it you can DIY at less than RM1k (provided that her visa pelancong still valid)

zira : should not exceed 30 days, imigresen skrg very efficient. No worries. Make sure visa pelancong bakal bibik tu still valid, klu nk expired before dpt result than pegi extend another 30days & tunjuk surat kata tgh proses JP visa. Aku tgh buat karangan pasal tu..tunggu ye

Anon : oh kesian kamu tak perasan ada comment masuk. PA memang untuk setahun jek, nanti kalau nak sambung beli lagi nxt year (kena ke ? hiks) Gomen mungkin buat requirement kena beli PA masa nak renew permit but as of now belum ada news la.

Do observe the new requirements under the new MoU, rasanya the minimum salary bar has been raised to 700 bukan 600 dah.

Been to Indonesia Embassy yesterday 13 Feb 2013. Yes salary raised to RM700. Previous salary is RM650 so dpn office during the interview kena fill up contract with new salary. Process mengambil masa 5 jam. Start q sharp 7am dan habis jam 12pm. Bit suprise coz I only have to wait for 15 min to collect passport even there are 100 over ppls still waiting for their passport. Saya andaikan mungkin saya bersama maid saya during interview, jadi dipercepatkan sedikit kot. So my advise is always be with ur maid during submit form and interview.
TQVM Azrul Zack for the update, getting the passport is fast (murah pulak tu) tp process sblmnya tu yg lama. Kalau dgn ejen lagi lama. They will pick & choose employer yang diorg nak interview, x semua kena interview.
Alhmadulillah for you, lega la ye dah settle..I have no maid now, my maid yg dh 5 years with us decided to go back for good. I'm now maidless in Gombak hehe
I'm not sure either certain employer are selected to join for the interview session tapi apa yg saya perhatikan semua majikan yg ada akan teman maid mereka dalam bilik. Anyway untuk semua contract perlu renew setiap tahun. Damn kena pergi lagi tahun depan tapi just ambil number dan tunggu no more photo taking. Yes Tukang Campak bila collect passport siap rasa nak menjerit, memang lega gila lepas apa yg kita tempoh. Alhamdulillah and yes thanks to you for all ur info given. I guess I need to update this post. Seems like they have new procedure coz my boipren was never called in until the passport is ready for collection. And no mention about contract renewal whatsoeva.
Photo taking tu just for the passport, so klu nxt year ada MoU baru then employer will be 'forced' to offer new terms during contract renewal hmm I thot the contract needed when you're still tied to an agent, once the 2 initial years completed the contract is a mutual contract between you & maid. Tak pernah la plak ku renew contract maid ku ittew tapi ada annual increment la utk dia. the rest t&c sama jek.
