The Crocs Snatcher

Last Saturday, I bought a tiny pair of Crocs for Hannah (in cotton candy as well) after my bowling session at Midvalleh. Me, membujangkan diri, office event maaa...and Hanis got school.

It fits nicely which means it can last only for a few months. You don't wear Crocs that fits nicely !!Nak kena tukar 1 size bigger, aku x kuasa nak melayan Midvalleh during weekend so dalam kepala pikir...blah kejap on Monday je lah.

Only to be told by the staff that they're out of stock in that color and size, I went "Huh?? How ah ??". The guy pegi la panjat2 belakang stor came out saying the same thing. Dia kata color lain ada. No way. I started swearing inside my head " Tu lah nak sangat beli, sandal lagi satu tu elok je lagi" (But again...she's a girl, she needs at least a few )

Maybe budak2 tu kesian tgk muka aku, suddenly dia kata kejap ye kak, ada last pair customer dah booking tapi kita boleh call sbd dia dah 2,3 hari x collect. Ahhaa...

So girls, if you think you can secure an item thru booking, think again. I've snatched someone's Crocs. Sorry J@zreen, you should've pick-up the call.

BTW, that tiny pair went off to someone else even before I left the store. So, to the the management of Crocs@midvalleh...your staff made the right decision !!

Redang....(Again ??)

Ibu & Babah are really sorry for we had to celebrate your happy day in a very-very low key celebration. Not only we have to scrap the party that we promised, but we also have to make do with whatever we can have from the hospital room. We're really sorry for that.

Ibu was so sad when you said 'It's OK' in THAT tone thru the phone. I knew you're sad but the fact that you understood the situation made me realised that you're now getting 'wiser' and deserved the 'big girl' title.

Maybe due to excessive guilty feeling, babah promised you an 'excessive birthday gift' ever (without consulting ibu hmmph). Don't be sad, I'm not denying you the gift, but some rules have to be in place.

However, it won't be available on you birthday, rather later. So on the day, Ibu called Paksu to watch Adan while Ibu dashed to Ampang P0int to get something for you. Ye la how sad it will be not having anything on the day though you were promised the world later. Ibu bought you a wristwatch with moving bee, the one with numbers instead of dots and Paksu even bought you RC helicopter !! So, baik x yah party, dpt hadiah best2. Ibu overcame the fear of balloons by putting lotsa balloons in the room, terkejut nurse tgk hehe we left 1/2 of the cake at the nurse station.

Oh oh...lupa plak, Ibu and Adan sneaked out from the hospital to the nearby 7-11 around 7pm. Adan bought a cute toy phone (in pink) for his sister. That's not all, he wanted a wrapper as well but agreed on paperbag instead. Isn't your brother so sweet, not to mention that he called early morning to sing Happy Birthday to you, who obviously still in mamai-state.

And the mega present from babah (which Ibu still do not consent) came in only on Sunday and it looks like this...

an 8 hours of express bus ride during daylight with 3 kids in tow !!

I'm mind-body-and-soul-ly tired.

So until I'm done with repenting and regretting (of my own decision), I'll give you the delayed posts first.

I'm leaving on a ....BUS

I'll be leaving KL tonite on Transnasional express bus heading KT. This will be the 1st time for the kids. Sungguh la teruja kanak-kanak ribena itu...

Another trip to Redang on a mission :

1. 'Teman'ing babah for his diving lesson
2. Getting some fresh air for Adan to breathe into his 'phlegm'ed lungs

Got few entries to be posted but that can wait.

Note : Hanis will skip school (and test hehe) on Friday, tips on good parenting skill ;)

Si Kecik Hannah

Si kecik ni !!! Tu lah ayat Adan & hannis everytime Hannah started using her weapon of mass destruction. Penat la abang ngan kakak 'set-up' cafe & kitchen, dia datang zaaaaaaaasss, sumer terbang. Penat la abang ngan kakak create stuffs from Lego blocks, dia datang praaaaang sumer berkecai.

Ni la dia si kecik tu...

This was captured when all of them kids 'lepak'ing in APSH, as usual, keje dia mengabihkan segala makanan.

She's now 20 months, tengah mabuk membebel maklumla lambat dpt skill ni, she's the fastest learner among 3 of them. She understood instructions very well even before she's 1y.o. Kiranya x berapa kepoh cam mak dia la hahaha. Some of her pelat vocab :

dada - kakak

bobo - robot

uwa - seluar / keluar

jah - Pizah (her aunty hehe not Aciq)

nana - nenek

ma - ibu ( sungguh lah tidak match)

lala - jalan

You should listen when she calls Babah, oh so manja, sungguh la haku dengki siap meleret2 lagi 'Ba ba aa aa ah'.

When we were there...

Some pix from suite 654 during our 7D 6N at Ampang Puteri 'Hotel' :) . That's a record (yang 18 hari kat NICU masa dia kecik2 tu tak kira ah...different story)

Dia rimas ngan drip line tu tapi nak buat camano, kena gak masuk this time around. Kesian, every 4 hours we had to wake him up for medications as well as some 'dragon' time. He loves doing the neb a.k.a dragon, only when he's awake. Totally pissed off, he complained 'Kenapa nurse suka buat masa Adan tido ??'. What to do lah dear. And...don't ever ever do it while he's lying down.

On the 5th night, we had to remove the IV line after he complained that it was painful even during a flush (water). His tiny vein can't take it anymore. They tried to poke his right hand and that was the first time I heard him screaming, yes screaming, I know how painful it is when they're trying to find the vein. He's one strong boy, last time cabut gigi, kena inject pun rilex jek. 2 times and I said ENUFF !! I can't stop crying almost few hours after that. It must be very painful for him. But, he had uninterrupted sleep that night, no meds at all. I'm so sorry sayang

The next day, our Paed came and tried to 'coax' me into allowing them to get the antibiotic thru IV as if I 'violently' opposed to the idea. Helloo...I don't mind at all as long as you can do it like the 1st time. So, she promised to send their best person, their paediatric surgeon, who happen to be the one who operated on Adan when he was only 3 days old. Even he struggled to find the vein, but in a less painful-way lah.

Our room was so damn cold, dah turn-off air-con pun sama jek, mengerekot tipah kat tilam yg maha tipis, terasa frame kat b*ntot tuh. Bila la depa nak tukaq baru...kami bayaq tau katil ngok ngek tu !!

Though he's sick, his appetite was indeed very healthy, and he demanded 1 cup of hot choc after every physio session. He can finish 2 bowls of soup at one time and there was 1 time when he gulped 3 pieces of buttered bread one after another. Next physio session, sakit perut kena tepuk haha. Itu dah 2 jam puasa tuh !! Here, he's enjoying some hot soup while Bumblebee setia di sisi (mata x lepas tgk kartun jek)

After CXR on Monday, it was confirmed. Diagnosis : BRONCHOPNEUMONIA. He's recovering well now, due for follow-up this Wednesday. Cuti jangan x cuti.

I feel sooooooooooo bad

I lost my focus today

I have 1 sick kid who was discharged yesterday

I have 1 sick mother-in-law, who can't even get herself up this morning

Yet, here I am, in the office. None of us can take leave. Me and hubby are holding the fort in the office. My Sis-IL just came back from 2-weeks medical leave and my BIL is working shift.

All them kids now with Hannah's babysitter. And mak should be ok since aboh is around. but still, I feel so bad. No, I'm not just feeling bad, I'm bad.

I did it...GE2008

Despite the chaotic schedules in our household, I did what I'm suppose to do. On my way to APSH, I made a brief stop to exercise my right as a registered voter in SKGS.

Weeks before, Hanis kept on lobbying ' Jangan lupa undi BN tau...' while Adan kept on singing the song 'Undilah...PAS' hahaha macam la paham. I voted for those who can serve the community. I'm not tied to any party, I will go for personality & credibility. The ONLY thing that we got from the previous YB is a newly-tarred road about 2 days before the BIG day. I don't even recognise him when he greeted us at pasar malam though his father-in-law just lives few doors away.

Hannah went with me into the cubicle and witnessed the process of 'buang undi'. All in all...WE DID IT (except for Babah, who was 1,2 minutes too late).

The result was shocking but that should be a wake-up call and as an auditor, I like the check & balance thingy.

Adan is SICK

I'm currently posting from foldable bed in room 654 of Ampang Puteri while my sick boy, curling next to me is trying to shut his eyes. He refused to sleep on his bed tonight. Sigh...

Yeah, Adan is back in Ampang Puteri, he was admitted on Thursday after coughing whole night until his throat bleeds. You can hear him breathing few feets away, like Darth Vader. The last time we were here was in 2004, so this is considered a relapse. We have no choice but to let them set the drip line because of his weight, 15kg++. They took it off after 2 days of close monitoring on his diet. After rounds of medication & physios, the paediatrician is considering an x-ray tomorrow after her morning check. I hope we don't need that.

Generally he's improving but whenever he coughs you know how bad it is inside his lungs. The phlegm refused to leave. Hopefully we can go back by Wednesday. It's been 4-hellish-days watching him like this. Pray for my son's health okay.

I'm so grateful & lucky for having such a hands-on hubby during time like this, he was here on 'shift' for the 1st 2-days because I HAVE to be in the office on Friday and now he's babysitting Hanis & Hannah at home. Love you dear...

It sucks when you were asked to come back to office by someone who is fully aware of your situation. I have to abandon my sick child so that somebody can do proper handover before going to vacation. Ever heard of e-mail & handphone ?? Yeah...sad, frustated, go to hell with the rating, as if I've never done any good before. I WILL & HAVE to be back on Wednesday, so hubby will take charge again. Feel like crying.

Update : After few SMSs and e-mails, I don't have to be in office Tuesday morning. Alhamdulillah. Finally.

Di tanahair tercinta, harganya mencecah RM2400, no less.

Antara tajuk-tajuk lain yang sedang dipertimbangkan adalah Kenwood dan juga Electrolux.

Kenwood itu mempunyai pelbagai fungsi termasuklah blender (jug kaca, daku suka), dan lagi dan lagi

Electrolux pula, masih belum ku godek, sekadar mendengar kabar-kabar gembira dengan prestasinya sahaja.

Kepada Cik Puan Dd pula, adakah perlu kita mengadakan kumpulan kutu KitchenAid/Kenwood/Elextrolux untuk merealisasikan impian kita ?? Kerana tidaklah aku mampu mengedebukkan duit sebanyak itu sekelip mata.

I'm about to make 1 big purchase. Should i say investment ?? I put it as big because it is something solely for ME and it will cost me almost RM2k. So yes people, it is a very very big deal (for me laaa...).

It will be an investment if I use it to CREATE SOMETHING and make money out of it.

Wait until next week, I'll show you. I can't wait to slash this from my wishlist.

The Forgotten 7th Anniversary...

Bukan....bukan wedding anniversary tau...

1 Mac 2008 - masuk 7 tahun, aku keje kat SINI. Syukur Alhamdulillah atas segala rezeki yang dilimpahkan-Nya, aku rasa this is the place for me for years to come. Yes, I'm not ambitious, I'm not high-career woman. That's just me. I'm paid to do what I'm suppose to do. Tapi takde la sampai buat ala-kad je kan. Performance-wise, so far very promising (wait until end of this year, baru kau tau !!)

I'm staying not so much for the monetary part laa though my current pay is not that bad either. I've got the best medical benefit around for the whole family which will make me think twice, triple or hundred times over to quit. I've got a colleagues who can do some bitching, some shopping, lunching and definitely working together (not necessarily in that order hehe).

Happy 7th Anniversary to me and Kijang.

My wishlist...

Time for my angan2. It's been in my wishlist since I was in my teenage years. Say nothing about me not driving okay....hahaha
