Hehe it's your birthday my boy Adan, ibu & babah sayang Adan to the 90 infinity (bak kata adik).

On your actual birthdate there were so many occasions. Sekolah Adan ada buat hari buku or something where team Kuntum visited and everybody given a copy of the latest mag. Adan made a joke, it's in conjuction with his birthday so everyone gets a copy as a gift konon2 from him hehe c.u.t.e

On the same date, adik aka Hannah pulak kalut dengan fieldtrip ke RabbitFunLand (kena google sbb until now aku tak tau kat manakah tempat ni). 

I was on very tight deadline and came back home almost 11pm that day, Adan ran out sambil senyum2 & buat gaya tadah tangan. He almost cried when I said, sorry abang ibu belum beli present lagi but he just hugged me & obviously forcing a smile. *guilty tahap unbelievable coz mmg tak sempat plan what to buy for him*. The kids waited for me before cutting the small birthday cake that hubby bought earlier, immediately after sumer Zzzz cause it's wayy over their bedtime. That was Wed, his actual birthday.

He did the same on Thu only to be disappointed again as I haven't had time to buy his present and I don't want to buy anything for the sake of buying. We were not home Friday night. I called him and told him that we will pick everybody up tomorrow morning to celebrate at his preferred place, Chilis with special request = Happy Birthday Song from staff hehe wish granted but stilll no birthday present, by that time I just observe him and he sort of accepted the fact that we didn't buy him anything and the makan2 is in fact is his present.

Dah full, we left KayElCC and brought the kids to Shangri-La (ada cerita yang nak diceritakan tentang ini hehe). 

Masa Adan dok syiok2 lepak kat bilik & still excited sbb he considered that as part of his celebration, we took out the present and he still couldn't stop sengih sampai telinga and belek-ing the gift half an hour after, still over the moon. That was the best reaction we have ever seen from him. He totally didn't expect it just like Hanis when she got her henpon. Priceless. So, abang...you still want you Transformers and Lego set or you want to keep this present ? 

Panggil nama baru angkat muka, else fixated on his new gadget sambil sengih2 sorang haha

Wahai anakku MuhammadHaniff Rashdan, semoga Allah terus merahmati anakku ini dengan rahmat dan rezekiNya. Happy Birthday. Amiin.

My lovely doter is 12, Happy Birthday My Dear

Last Sunday, Hanis turned 12. She's no longer a lil baby, physically, but will be our baby forever.

Happy birthday Along, ibu & babah love you so much. Infinity. Uncountable.

Being 12, the pressure would be on you to act like a 12 years old. Ibu and Babah will try to guide you to be one. Be responsible. Be courteous. Be honest. Be vigilant. Be polite. Be respectful. Most importantly be yourself.

Ibu and babah will slowly loosen up the 'control rope' tied around you but we will pull it tight where necessary so that you won't mistakenly venture into dangerous path along the way. Just saying so that you know we will be there for you for good and bad for better or worst.

Happy 12 birthday, enjoy your birthday present.

We didn't buy her any data plan so we'll need to teach her how to get onto wi-fi

Though it's on Sunday, no partayyy but we bought cake for her & she got to skip her swimming class (Adan & Adik oso skipped the class hehe)

September Boy

Boy ? layak ke lagi panggil boy hehehe boboiboy...

Kekasih hati telah berusia 37 tahun, 2 hari yang lepas.


Tapi keadaan dan kejadian sekeliling menjadikan hari tersebut agak hectic. Rancangan mau keluar dating di tengah malam dibatalkan. Kenapa ?

• Kekasih hati seorang diri di pejabat. Penat. Sangat. Balik lewat.



• Si isteri pula terpaksa, ya terpaksa. Memerah tenaga bermain tenis meja. Balik lewat juga.



• Di rumah, ada ibu aku, adik aku dan anak-anak kami. Tak manis kalau mau berpergi.



• Mau bawa semua, tapi ada seorang tidak layak keluar bersuka-suka. Pantang harus jaga.

Si isteri, dari pejabat walau sudah lewat terus berusaha mencari sesuatu sebagai tanda.

Tanda supaya kekasih hatinya tahu, bahawa tiada yang lupa.

Cuma keadaan memaksa untuk kita tidak terlalu bersukaria.

belum apa2, kekasih hati sudah tido terbongkang x sedar hape...

We had a simple do for her 1st REAL birthday party, her 1st time inviting her bestfriends. All this while just makan2 with family.

It was a last minute party actually. Originally, I am suppose to be away from home [main pingpong for BeeNM] on that day but it was cancelled on 11th hour due to security reason (related to Bers1h 2.0). Before that, I promised Hannah that we will go out for usual makan2 somewhere special, no birthday party. But since we have the weekend back, doing nothing, we decided to throw mini party for her. Lucky me coz my neighbour is a baker & choc-maker so I ordered some fancy apam pokadot, lollichoc and rushed to our regular cake shop to order MinnieMouse cake, they only have one in the picture above & no pink topping. Tawakkal je masa order hoping that Hannah wouldn't mind that her cake is not PINK. She loves it. Fuh legaa..

Cerita berkait

Throughout the year she kept on saying "Hannah belum betul-betul 5 tahun laa...". Just because it's not her birthday yet. Why so ? Because she promised to ditch milk-in-the-bottle when she turned 5.

So now that she's already 'betul-betul 5 tahun', she tried to negotiate. Milk in a cup during the day but 1 bottle before bed. Tell u ah, kids nowadays mastered the art of bargaining waay before the knew how to spend money.

And we the parents, relented.

The next day, bibik told me that Hannah thrown all her bottles in the dustbin except for 1, her fav bottle. That will stay for her '1 je botol masa nak tido'. Awal2 ok lagi, lama2 mula nak ngelat. Whatever it is, stop the bottle, not the milk. [ayat ala2 message of the day]. My kids still drink their milk esp during breakfast. Hanis loves choc we buy the flavored one for her. She even makes her own choc ice-blended complete with sprinkles. Adan prefers plain white milk. Anything kids, as long as u drink ur milk.

Harijadi Si Kurus Tapi Hensem

Kehkehkeh kalaulah boleh ku dermakan daging & lemak2 di badanku, sure si kurus tapi hensem nih dah exceed 20kg hehe

Kurus atau sedang2 aje atau berisi atau bambam, it doesn't matter to me coz you're my little hero, you're my little sunshine, you're my everything.

2 weeks ago, I was so proud when I saw you snorkelling on your own as it shows how much you've grown up from being the grab-whoever-next-to-you-boy to one who carries himself with more confidence and courage the cowardly dog. To some people, that's nothing but to me it's an achievement on its own.

When I wrote this piece, he's lying on my bed, listening to 'I can't smile without you' over and over again...he loves it

and I love him.

Belated entry for my princess, her birthday was on 11 March 2011

My dear, we're sorry that you couldnt have a proper birthday party this year as we're traveling back to nenek's house for CheNik's wedding. We bought a tiny cake the night before we travel, a surprise & impromptu plan from both of us. Adan played his role as the news + cake bearer when Along was watching TV. As usual , adik will share everybody's glory. Everybody's birthday is her birthday

I didn't know that you plan to celebrate it with your classmates, which didn't materialise as you skipped school that day. But we made it up by buying you another cake to be brought to school tho it's 1 week late.

Present ? She requested for a microscope...yes, you read it correctly, a microscope. Lucky they have it at mainan'R'kami. Kalau tak mana mau cari ?? lab supplier kah ?

Adan bought something for her as well, 1 week in advance, something which I think is very very nice especially when he said 'Along mesti suka ni'... what a thoughtful lil brother. It's a mini-drawer for Along to put her stuffs, brooches, keys and hairband.

Hanis, your birthday is not about present but it's about you being another year older, bout you being 11 years old, about you being our gift. About you starting to feel the peer pressure or maybe about you hoping that we can be as cool as her friend's parent, it's about everything...above all it's about you being you.

Hanis, ibu and babah will be around when the rain comes or when the sun shines. You just have to open up your eyes. We love you more than you will ever know.

Empat tahun lahh !!

Yesterday, 10 July 2010, apart from me having to sit for test which carries 20% of my mark, it was also

HANNAH's BIRTHDAY

 the 4TH

I had no time to prepare anything (I mean food-wise) for my family. After class we headed straight to KLCC to get present for her. Takmo jd mcm dulu, she hated (more like scared ekceli) the talking Elmo that we picked from 1setan. DUh!! Lesson learned, let her pick but one thing for sure anything princess-y or masak2 is very much her fav. So in case we dont have time to bring her next time, I know what to get.

Makan2 was almost cancelled, since most of my siblings + Apiz can't make it, I was thinking of telling hubby to go out somewhere to celebrate. But then we had ordered a big cake (1.5kg) anticipating that all will come. So there we were, the first makan2 where I didn't cook anything except making 2 jugs of drinks. Sate + mee/bihun sup tapau-ed from our regular eateries, tu pun beli dh di petang hari. My bro called to tell that he can't make it too, but Apiz did came as he managed to finish his work earlier (yes, Paksu works on weekend, same co. as ezzah which allows WFH jeles jeles ).

Hannah, please don't grow too fast. Ya Allah lindungilah anak2ku dari segala bahaya, limpahkanlah rezeki -Mu dan rahmat-Mu ke atas mereka. Amin.

Adan is 8 EIGHT LAPAN..lapan lagi

We had small & simple gathering for makan-makan among family members to celebrate Adan's 8th birthday. Invited our next door neighbors to join. We had nasik ayam (the easiest menu to handle)

Adan made a surprise. He invited his classmate without telling us !! Lucky 1,2 org jek...I mean, he just moved to the new school like 1 week ago. 1 of them who happen to stay nearby, turned up with his sister and ... of coz, presents. So aku ransack the kitchen to find goodie packs. Sib baik mmg ada standby, Ben10 lagi hehe aku sumbat la all cookies and muffin yg ada kat rumah tu nak cukupkan 10 pack. Bertuah punya Adan, x kasik warning langsung kat ibu.

Happy birthday to you Adan, ibu x pandai nak bermadah or nak buat poem untuk menyatakan kasih sayang ibu pada anak2 tapi kasih ibu untuk selamanya. Doa ibu untuk Adan siang dan malam...may Allah bless us.
