My lovely doter is 12, Happy Birthday My Dear

Last Sunday, Hanis turned 12. She's no longer a lil baby, physically, but will be our baby forever.

Happy birthday Along, ibu & babah love you so much. Infinity. Uncountable.

Being 12, the pressure would be on you to act like a 12 years old. Ibu and Babah will try to guide you to be one. Be responsible. Be courteous. Be honest. Be vigilant. Be polite. Be respectful. Most importantly be yourself.

Ibu and babah will slowly loosen up the 'control rope' tied around you but we will pull it tight where necessary so that you won't mistakenly venture into dangerous path along the way. Just saying so that you know we will be there for you for good and bad for better or worst.

Happy 12 birthday, enjoy your birthday present.

We didn't buy her any data plan so we'll need to teach her how to get onto wi-fi

Though it's on Sunday, no partayyy but we bought cake for her & she got to skip her swimming class (Adan & Adik oso skipped the class hehe)

Belated entry for my princess, her birthday was on 11 March 2011

My dear, we're sorry that you couldnt have a proper birthday party this year as we're traveling back to nenek's house for CheNik's wedding. We bought a tiny cake the night before we travel, a surprise & impromptu plan from both of us. Adan played his role as the news + cake bearer when Along was watching TV. As usual , adik will share everybody's glory. Everybody's birthday is her birthday

I didn't know that you plan to celebrate it with your classmates, which didn't materialise as you skipped school that day. But we made it up by buying you another cake to be brought to school tho it's 1 week late.

Present ? She requested for a microscope...yes, you read it correctly, a microscope. Lucky they have it at mainan'R'kami. Kalau tak mana mau cari ?? lab supplier kah ?

Adan bought something for her as well, 1 week in advance, something which I think is very very nice especially when he said 'Along mesti suka ni'... what a thoughtful lil brother. It's a mini-drawer for Along to put her stuffs, brooches, keys and hairband.

Hanis, your birthday is not about present but it's about you being another year older, bout you being 11 years old, about you being our gift. About you starting to feel the peer pressure or maybe about you hoping that we can be as cool as her friend's parent, it's about everything...above all it's about you being you.

Hanis, ibu and babah will be around when the rain comes or when the sun shines. You just have to open up your eyes. We love you more than you will ever know.

Dalam kelam-kabut berjaya jugak aku pegi shopping keperluan sekolah anak2. Borong style enough to last them for at least 4-6mths depending on how frequent Hannah will be ransacking my stationery box.

New unipom for both Along & Adan. Rolls and rolls of book wrapper (yes, I am that old-skool) and stack of rulers, scissors, erasers and many many type of colors (got crayon, pencil, oil pastel blabla)

As usual, rule of the house, breakfast is a MUST and drinks would be either Milo or milk. Muka ceria sbb semua excited nk start tugas baru and dpt baju baru.

How fast time flies, Hanis is oredi 11 years old, another year and she'll be in secondary school. I'm not prepared to let my baby go just yet.

Adan looks handsome in his prefect uniform ( ignore the color). He's 9 and growing.

But that day was another special day as my youngest now officially entered the school-age, Along and Adan had been through many many 1st day of school but 3 Jan 2011 was Hannah's real 1st day of school.

Babah couldn't join the merry-ness as he gotta give way to his colleague who need to send off his 1st born to school. I tumpang-ed my neighbor to send her off and later pick her up myself.

Make sure that she had her milk and heavy breakfast as school would only provide snack during break. Knowing Hannah, snack won't be enuff so I packed her some cereal and cookies apart from plain water.

Now that all of them are growing up so fast, I do feel that I haven't done my best, there were many many moments which I regret that it happend and many many moment which I cherished. Something that I wished and planned but failed to execute. I can just hope that I would be a better parent to them and would be the one who they will turn to during good and bad times.

Ibu and babah love you all so so so much, nothing compares...

Ekceli bukan aku takde brokbeng, adaaaa...manjang dpt HSDPA lps aku barter trade ngan SIL, dia pakai aku nyer Max1s. Cuma aku x sempat nak duk bersimpuh reka ayat or mengedit gambar2...blog ni klu ko dh pencen sekejap punya la payah nak start balik...

So sementara aku ada masa ni baik update apa yg patut.

Baru lps packing nk fly to KK esok. Our 1st trip to the Land Beneath the Wind for 5D4N. The trip will start quite early coz we planned to hop on LRT to Sentral and board the Skybus to LCCT. Gonna have lunch over there (dgn harapan kanak2 tidak mengorder food di awan biru, walopon chances agak tipis haha) before boarding.

We rented Saga BLM @rm100/day from BNM KK staff, he'll pick and send us off to the airport. 1st night gotta lepak in Pacific Sutera coz it's too late to drive to Kundasang, 2nd night in Kinabalu Pine and the other 2 nights in Magellan Sutera. Hope all went well. We skipped Nexus & Manukan coz I think both worth an exclusive visit. A brief stay won't be enough. So anybody want to join us and get to stay at the hotels at a discounted rate ?

Except for acara sukan tahunan sekolah on Sunday. Kali ni ibu ada geng, Cikgu Hasni pagi2 suda tunggu dekat padang dgn Hannah mau tunggu acara..apa ek ? baling pundi kacang ? ke bawak pundi kacang ? ada lupa jugaa...

Hanis participated in 4 x200m and they begged the 3rd place. Acara dah buat siap2 on Friday..hmm not bad. Sentimental event for babah..he was a runner for the same event satu ketika dolu...

On Sunday all she need to do just KAWAD KAKI for PBSM...umang aiii panas mak oiii.......Hanis pun sama garing..mana taknya berlatih dari bulan Jan..tgh panas rembang...

No celebration tonight since she got Ujian Setara tomorrow. We'll have one small do this weekend.

I'm still lost what to get you for your birthday. Babah is done n ready. Aciq is still thinking. Never mind, still got time till weekend. Need to get card for you so that you won't feel as if we don't celebrate your birthday (knowing how sensitive you are..sentapzz aje).

Chill out baby...soon we'll be hitting the shopping malls together-gether, girl's day out..yippeee..

1/2 hari di sekolah Along - 13 Nov

[Delayed Entry]

Sekolah bagi hadiah for their top ten students, so Hanis termasuk la jugak. She's so excited and kept on asking whether I'll be there or not. Some said 'pegi ke ? bukan top spot pun'. No matter how small, for me...it's an achievement. A mother always exaggerates when it comes to their kids. Sbb aku ingat how proud & happy I was seeing ma & abah in school during award ceremony when I was in primary. They must be proud as well as I sapu licin all the awards.

So with my limited cuti, we took 1/2 day leave since we have to rush to Adan's tadika to collect his harta sepanjang persekolahan and to say our TQs to all the teachers there. After 4 years of seeing then, we'll take a break or maybe it's final. Hannah lambat lagi...

Pagi2 dah hantar Hanis Q then we rushed to our roti canai stall, wallop 2 pieces. Dah settle sapedek, still early, so gi amek brg2 Adan dulu. Pastu cam biasa la join other proud parents. Clap clap clap

Congrats Hanis, enjoy your schooling period just like ibu & babah yonks ago.

We just enrolled her for KUM0N class coz she started to struggle in Maths, esp. the division. I mean really struggle sampai x leh jwb few questions in exam, ibu dia plak 'penyabar' orangnya. Adan join the club, jadi bodyguard kakak dia. 2 times a week 30-45 min each. We'll see how she fares.

Bagi pihak Hanis, nak bersokaria sbb final exam dah abis ye. Ceh !! over plak ibu dia mcm la anak amek SPM...exam darjah 2 jek tapi harusla kena selebret kan...

Dah ibunya pun sama study mati2 sampai tergolek2 kat katil. Ingat senangke nak recall sbb2 dibolehkan tayammum selain sbb xde air. Sapa terer sila jwb on the spot, haipp2.. jgn tanya Incik google hehehe mcm la ada org nak jwb :p

Nak kasik semangat time dia baca buku & buat latihan, ibu nan mithali ni bergelut jgk kat sebelah study Kite Runner...gila babas lama, pestime aku baca buku bersambung sampai b'bulan2..sungguhlah tidak 'aku'...selalu 1 buku 2 ari dh khatam sodaqallahul'azim...

So, Along dah besar2 nanti jgn lupa baca blog ibu, silalah kenang jasa ibu ni...klu rasa cam terharu lebih sikit, bawak la ibu gi jenjalan mana2 tapi haruslah belah2 Europe je tau...
