What was supposed to be a jalan-jalan episode, as usual end up as a makan-makan siang malam. Even bibik was wondering.."kenapa kita tak keluar jalan-jalan tengok tempat org kak ?". Our tummy takes us around Penang, we even hopped on the ferry service to get us to Sg Dua.
Unfortunately, the food was not as good as before, Penang used to hold a special place in my tummy. But now I won't be coming back SOLELY for the FOOD. It's still good but you don't feel like 'I have to come back' or 'I'll singgah kalau naik utara' .
We left our beloved Kg Ker-Dust in 2 cars around 10am and made a stop at Tapah for drinks, had a lunch and prayer break at Wa's house in Bkt Gantang and proceed with our journey close to 3pm. Reached the resort almost 5 and everyone went ZZzzzzz.

08.00pm : Gurney Drive hunting for Pasembur...the 'rojjaaaaaaak' guy was so unique
09.30pm : Drop my SIL, BIL and Bibik kat stalls along the Batu Feringghi roadside

07.30am : Hunt for fresh seafood stock at Kg Nelayan, too late
08.30am : Serbu 24hrs grocery outlet for fresh stock
09.30am : Chief Chef prepared fried rice, French toast and some tumis sardin to accompany
12.00pm : Packing
02.00pm : Padang Kota : Pasembur, kerang rebus, sotong bakar, laksa, nasi ayam - worst pick
08.00pm : Stop at Tapah for tummy refill
11.00pm : my haven
One observation : Orang Penang kuat ber'tenet' hahaha tengah hari rembang pi duduk tepi pantai ataih batu tu...kuatnya semangat. Siang malam bersusun keter motor tepi pantai, apakata JAIPP pi serbu tengok, apa depa dok buat dlm gelap tu.
No pix to share, a bit segan since my family don't share the spirit that everything is worth a click. I shot here and there and stop when couple of eyebrows started to frown. How ah...FYI ah people... even teh tarik froth can be the object of fascination when I have a camera with me ok ?? you know, just to add to the tahap melampau.
