BREAK

I have an exam to sit on 20th and I've yet to start flipping any pages. Memang trait aku lah ni..study last minute mautnyer. 600 pages to be memorize. yes memorize coz the exam will quote all methodologies, modelling, examples and name of security-related applications available on the market an the Net. Kill me now...

So I'm taking a very short break from BLOGGING and BLOGHOPPING. 1 week oni hehe coz this 2 xtvts are sort of addictive. Once you start clicking, and reading....it's endless. Got a lot of stuffs to post but than can wait. I'll end this post with 2 news, 1 mixed of good & bad and 1 not so good.

Good & Bad News

We got the key to our new house sans the CF so no reno work can be done. No reno no move. No move no housewarming. So wait till the cows come home lah...huhu

Not So Good News

It's been 24hrs since Hannah last feeding thru the bo0bies. I'm weaning her off. I've decided that she should be fine with formula, fresh milk, tea blabla from now on.

sob sob...it feels like losing something, the bonding I think. After more than 2 years having her close to me, warming my body at night (it's time for babah plak..haha kidding). I've to do it for my own well being. I haven't had a proper sleep for the past 2 years. She' the type who'll wake up every 2, 3 hours for feeding..till now and she'll be holding onto it until my back felt numb. My back is hurting me. I woke up every morning feeling dizzy, disoriented and very very tired but life goes on. I normally took a 10-min nap every morning in the office. Imagine having to wake up every few hours throughout the night for the past 2 years.

I realised that long ago and tried to wean her off. All failed coz I felt the milk is too precious to be wasted, as you know I have aplenty. Last month, I checked myself into the hotel for tournament. After soo long, I got my 1st uninterrupted sleep, 2 days in a row. Wow...it was so good and I want to feel that way again.

I'm not complaining or whining coz breastmilk is the best thing you can give to your child. But when you have a baby who is soo clingy at night, in the long run it'll affect you phisically and mentally. I'm feeling it now and would like to put a stop to it. Mothers have to take care of themselves so that she can take better care or her family, right ?

Earlier I've tried so many tips and all failed, name it, bakawali, lipstick, belacan, kicap . I even put salt whenever she woke up but that also failed to stop her. And I just bowed after she cried and cried and cried. Hannah 10 Ibu 0. Last night, I wore a dress with no button and no stretchy collar, so she won't be able to pull out the milk machine. She cried and got cranky all the way and I made myself tougher inside, I'm not bowing out this time... She relented at last and requested for susu (read : formula). But....she insisted that the bottle to be inserted inside my dress as if she's having it direct from my body. Sian kan ? I cried and I laughed. I hold her tight last nite and we both slept like a baby.

Tips: If you have the time and chances to prepare and bottle-feed your child, do it yourself. Don't let the maid to prepare, hold and feed them. It's your right and grab it while you can.

Jom Layan Langkawi Day 4 (22 Nov)

The next morning, all exhausted, Babah dragged his feet to get the breakfast while me x habis2 ngan packing. Bebudak tu begged for one last round at the pool and Babah just can’t say no, so another keceburrr session till 11am++. Checked out at noon. Goodbye Sr1K1jang, I'll be here again definitely...

Had speedy lunch at Wan Thai..hahaha sempat lagi tuh. Order nasik goreng jek kali ni with Som Tam and Pulut Durian..mmpphh marbeles though the pulut was a lil bit suwit even for my tekak.

Funny moment, all except babah ran for toilet at the same time including Hannah annnnd Hanis got herself locked inside the toilet, sib baik aku ada kat situ. Take note parents, check out the lock type before letting them kids in hahaha it’s funny. Hot hot moment, I found out that bibik ‘forgot’ to put diapers on Hannah all the way from the restaurant until we boarded the ferry. Hai..mmg la ko menguji kesabaran aku…I mean aku pass Hannah kat dia while I’m busy with the rest in the toilet, yet she 'forgot' to do the 1st and most basic thing, apa dia berangan time pakaikan suar kt Hannah aku x tau. Fuh fuh…take a deep breath, she had been testing may patience lah esp during vacation.

Landed at K.Perlis around 4++pm. Had to scrap our plan going to Pdg Besar. Spent the night at Shahaq’a house, his new house. They just moved in 2 days before hehe, kami la rasmi bilik2 dia haha. I wish I can have a house as big as that and as wonderful and scenic as that. Imagine a single storey bungalow, keliling bendang, dok atas bench dpn umah ngan angin b'tiup..pergh. Aku x brani nak snap hehe cam x sofan gitu kan sbb aku barely knew the wife, a doc. Luckily she'a a chatty one.

Aku sambung pack brg dlm bonet keter plak. Body rapat ke tayar tu babe. Went out for seafood galore but not at Linda coz we followed where the host brought us though we paid the bill. Melantak x hengat, ikan je dah 3 ekor, sotong 2 pinggan besar udang kerang blabla hehe baru RM120++. I heart KolaPeghelih. Ke'blogger'an aku = 0% hehe. So, no piccas.

Dengan perut kebuntat kami tido dalam bilik baru, katil baru, tilam bantal baru, aircon n kipas baru hahahaha. Daaaaaaaa….

Jom Layan Langkawi Day 3 (21 Nov)

It was raining and freezing cold. Hubby went out to get our breakfast while I sorted out kids’ clothes followed by a ‘briefing’ to bibik. Both of us planned to kirai duit in the morning and jelajah Langkawi for the rest of the day. We left the resort around 9.30am. I’ve no idea at all of the whereabouts of 1daman Suri, after few rounds in Kuah for price survey, we called someone and I was not surprise why I can’t find it. It’s waayy out of pekan. And to make it sweeter…it opens at 3pm on Friday. Yeah great, it's only 10.00 damn AM.

Since we’re oredi there, might as well get our ferry ticket. So there I was standing in the line only to be told ‘Tiket esok jual lepas pukul 11’. Seems like our ‘lucky day’ hehe

So..no fret, let’s do the jelajah 1st then. Called the house to get them ready. Picked them up and decided that we should visit the Beras Terbakar 1st followed by Makam Mahsuri. Cable car was closed for the rest of monsoon season so we skipped that route, so Telaga 7 and Pasir Hitam were automatically off the list.

I’ve never been to that site. When we parked, we saw that pintu gerbang, ok kids let’s go!! Only to be greeted by sepinggan beras in a box and 15 x 10ft of gated area in someone’s lawn. Erkk..tu je ke ? So we spent 15min to take obligatory piccas and the next 60min to bargain for souvenirs at the stalls hahaha so much hyped for the educational trip. Tips : Stuffs here is much2 cheaper than other places, provided that you know how to bargain (like me muahahaha)

We then zoomed to Makam Mahsuri, hubby dropped us at the entrance, he needed to rush for Friday prayers at the nearby mosque. I came here in 1995, it’s totally different now. They expanded and now it’s known as K0ta Mahsuri. Adult RM5, kids over 7yo RM2.50. I asked the children to read all the info plaques on display to better understand the whole Mahsuri saga (padahal, aku ingat2 lupa, cover line itu perlu…).

Unsangkarable, they got hooked and followed the trail and story. So I let them explore all the places and even paid for the guided tour in diorama. Aku tabik spring awek yg b’cerita ni. I should’ve taped her. Ayat dia perggh…memang tanpa segan silu klasik and loghat dia mmm I loike..

Punyala lama nk tggu geng2 kat telaga tu blah, siap mandikan anak, minum air mmm..

Suka ah rumah cenggini, ptg2 bleh duk atas boyan bwh umah.

We spent about 2 hrs there, ambik kau… other places won’t be that easy to cover so another obligatory site was Dataran Lang. All the way, we had to answer all kind of questions about the legend. Snap snap snap and rushed to Wan Thai again for lunch. Heheheh Close on Fri…&^%(^#$%*&.

Hannah tgh Zzz..klu x sure ran havoc

Since we were in Kuah, the shopaholic in me started to kick off. 1daman Suri here I comeeeeeee. Since Hannah was dozing, I left them in the car and I went crazy. Klu x kerana bonet keter ku yg kecik ho ho ho mau aku hangkut semoaaaaaa…Kat situlah aku jumpa Ayu hehe.

On our way back dh nak maghrib (aku sgt kejam sbb we have yet to hv a proper lunch. Lucky thing that they were snacking all the way). Singgah makan kat kedai tepi jalan near our resort. Kids managed to pujuk Babah to let them conquer the pool again. At 8PM !! I let them coz I had to crack my head with the packing strategy. Mmmmm..got 1 additional luggage heheheh. Sib baik packed all our stuffs in 1 small trolley bag and 1 knapsack when we came in. That's a feat ok, 2 adults, 2 kids, 1 toddler for 5 days. All in, diapers, formula, baju mandi blabla I always admire my ability to do smart packing hahaha hinns hinns….sila muntah.

That was our last night spent in that humongous, super comfort resort. Fenat, fuas and feh feh hahahaha

Direction to 1daman Suri :

From or to pekan Kuah, you’ll find one junction with a TIMED traffic light This is the only one (for now lah). U’ll see police station at that junction.

If you’re from Kuah to Cenang, turn RIGHT.
If you’re from Cenang, turn LEFT lah..

From there you just proceed, you’ll pass by a lots of government agencies buildings, at one point, you’ll see a flashlight for stadium on your right (lampu spotlight 4 bucu tu). Proceed and you won’t miss that building coz it’s yellow and it’s huge and it’s on your RIGHT. If you missed that building, ko memang x layak jadik shopaholic hahaha.

Jom Layan Langkawi Day 2 (20 Nov)

Pepagi aku dah merayap ngan Man carik bekpes heavy sikit sbb nak gi island hopping. Dah beper kali pegi kali ni baru terbuka hati nak cuba. 9am kami sampai kat jeti belah2 P0rto Malai. Kena tggu sbb we opted for sharing basis. Dah cukup quorum baru jalan...masa ni aku lupa lak nasihat adik Yaya soh maintain sbb ada org snap gambar kat jeti. Apalagi..tertempek la muka aku yg tgh cebek kat pinggan seploh hengget tu.

Kami naik ngan 1 family from Ipoh, siap bawak nenek depa...baju kurung bagai occay...respek ah. Adan excited gila. All of them requested for outer seats. Kasik can lah. Jgn korang tercampak ke laut sudah.

Ni masa abang bot tu berenti kat satu spot to view the peknen lady. Agak jenuh jugak nak terangkan kat kanak2 ribena tuh. Mula2 sila terangkan makna bunting dulu ye puan2. Pastu mula dari kepala, tu dagu dia..haaa pastu nenen dia blabla...org depan aku dah gelak2 dah. Ni lah yg sempat capture sbb bot goyang2 and dia berenti kejap jek.

1st stopover - Tasik Dayang Bunt1ng

Masa ni aku ingat plak pesan Yaya. No plastic bag. Sgt banyak makhluk monyet itu, tggu masa nak grab. Aku ngeri gak takut dia lompat atas aku tapi bebudak tu suka sgt especialy Hannah..terjerit2 dia Monkey! Monkey ! Baby Monkey!.

Adalah sangat tidak baik tau tak bgtau awal2 yg tempat ni kena trekking. Masa naik tu aku dh ilang napas...60kg + 15kg. Hannah takde psl la kan nak jalan, kalau tanya dia boleh jwb 'Kaki hilang' hmmpfhhh. So imagine la bila aku sampai atas tu and tgk anak2 tangga yg turun ke bawah bersama batuan yg indah bagak dan melingkau, mcm nak pi bertapa...mengucap panjang aku. x tau la berapa kali aku berenti sedut oksigen. I owed zillion to my beloved babysling.

Secara ikhlasnya, tempat ni adalah over-rated. Sekian tima kasih.

2nd stopover - Pantai Beras Basah

Kat jeti beras basah, masa ni kami bagi roti kat ikan. Cantik...

I have no idea why this spot chosen as another stopover. Ingatkan adalah apa2 yg spesel. Bila tanya org rupa2nya sekadar singgah mandi-manda or klu ada $$ extra bleh la layan parasailing ke banana boat ke. Klu korang penah pegi beach yg heaven cam Redang, Perhentian ke mana2, this place is like soooooooo pale in comparison, aku cam pening, apa aku nak buat sejam kat sini ooi...

Tapi dah bebudak tu nk layan air layan jela, terjun ngan baju tu je. Dah la tempat tu x best, ada la pulak satu geng kolej mana ntah sesat 2,3 bot, buat pantai tu cam tandas sendiri...takde la peepee or weewee tp menjerit2 tolak2 ludah kahak 4 saat skali..aiyooo. Tu blom awek2 yg dok seblah kitorang dressing perasan cam kat Malibu. Topi ngan spek besau bagaak tapi bikini ala ciputnya. Sungguh tidak kellas tau dress camtu pastu lepak Beras Basah, koro2 pun pi la Krabi ke Phuket ke. Chainsmoking x hengat, tattoo sana sini. Apa nak jadik anak melayu nih.

Ada couple baru kawin ni plak (mana aku tau ? hehe inai merah dijari, cincin merelip2 and operasi raba meraba haha sgt kepochi ok) mtk tolong bibik aku tgkkan brg2 diorang sbb diorg nak mandi, bila time nk balik bibik dh cam serba salah. Sorry la bang, ni bibik saya, saya nk balik saya angkut la dia. Sapa soh ko gi mandi x naik2 kan, tau la syok peluk2 dlm air sampai aku lambai2 pun x nampak hehehe

3rd stopover - Pulau Singa Besar

Eagle feeding, mula2 tu cam lama gak tunggu. Apsal la depa buat x tau nih. Agaknya dah kenyang kebuntat org asik bagi makan jek. Dah lama sket baru lah ada yg berminat. That's the end of edisi hop-on hop-off di pulau. Now I can strike this from my list of things I wanna do. Been there done that. Off from the boat to discover my hudus shot on display, bought it anyway hehe. For bibik as well, kemain suke...

Wet and all (ku paksa mereka berdiri di kereta muhahaha dkt jek less than 5min) we went back to change and dengan rajinnya pegi Kuah sbb nak try one restaurant recommended by our friend. Definitely scrumptious, yummylicious Thai food served at Wan Thai. And fast. As y’all know time to serve is always a big factor for us.

Alang2 dh kat pekan, detour japz kat Hj. 1smail, bought some chocz for ourself. Ckp jek 'some', habis gak 2rat. hehe I have love hate r/ship with you chocz..

Went back with overstretched tummy. Me, Man & Hannah lazed and dozed off. The wicked pool was calling and the kids were spellbounded. At times like this I felt it’s worth to bring my maid on vacation. I let them go under bibik’s supervision. Alas, it was a short relief. I woke up and peeked from my balcony. Bibik was sitting and daydreaming while looking away at the open sea. I watched for 10-full minutes and she don’t even budged when Adan slipped. Had to go and slap her back to reality.

They had fun, no one else there so the pool kita yang punyaaaaaa...kecebuurrrrrr

Hannah and Babah joined later, they had a blast. I can’t join in the fun coz I was on red alert. We literally dragged them out from the pool. Went out to tapau some dinner while kids doing their Kum0n sheet. We retired quite early since nothing interesting showed on TV. Sounds boring eh…we don’t do night life peeps...

Direction to Restoran Wan Thai :
From Kuah to Cenang : After the only TIMED traffic light (alaaa..yang ada timer how many seconds left before it turns to either red or green), stay on your right and turn right at the junction. Turn left after the 1st row of shoplots. You’ll see Bank Rakyat and BSN on your left. Proceed and you’ll see it on your LEFT. You won’t miss lah, it’s so obvious in yellow and typical Thai restaurant signboard.

From Cenang to Kuah : On your way to pekan Kuah, you’ll see KFC outlet on your left, about 200m before you reach the main town. Turn left immediately after KFC, turn right in the next junction and just cruise you way till you see the restaurant on your RIGHT. They have a clean bathroom aka toilet and surau inside their outlet. How convenient

Jom Layan Langkawi Day 1 (19 Nov)

Aku konon nak tiru Ayu ah kasik korang berpinau tgk gambar jek tanpa ayat2 cinta walopon aku sihat walafiat. Tapi..being me..aku nak gak citer. Kang x leh recall plak kejadian.

To kiddos, now you know tempat2 bersejarah and to myself do not underestimate their readiness for that kind of stuffs. Why ? Coz we almost skipped the historic places thinking that they won't be interested when in fact we are the one who took that places for granted. Take note ah ibu and babah.

As usual, we are not the species who were granted with the luxury of planning our getaway waayyyyy ahead. Mmg takde chance la nak book flight tix yg dirt cheap tuh. By the time kitorang konpem the trip. Flight ticket sudah bapak mahal...sudahnya naik keter jelah...

Blah from KL around 4am on the 19th sbb nak singgah Bkt Gantang tgk Pak Long yg dah uzur. Subuh kt Sg Perak, tapau bekpes untuk Wa skali. Sampai sana mandikan askar2, bekpes man sempat tolong Wa handle Pak Long yg dah bedridden. Sedihnya tgk, harap2 aku sempat berjasa kat parents aku klu2 diorg dlm keadaan camtu. Kami blah from Bkt Gantang around 9am. Sampai jeti, keter tinggal umah geng UUM gak, Mat Shahaq kat Kangaq (it rhymes..yay). Seblom naik feri grab Ramly burger sket buat bekal...nyum nyum syedapp.

Sampai sana, amek keter, chow carik proper meal somehere kat Kuah only to be back at the Jetty for Kenny R0ger's since sumer org x leh decide nk makan apa or kat mana. Cilok belon bebanyak kat situ and blah to our lovely resort at Chenang.

I know this is a bit late but...izinkanlah aku menjakunkan diri aku dan kagum dgn resort itu. I knew that I booked a unit with 5 rooms akan tetapi...tidaklah aku menyangka akan kebagakan unit itu. Besssaaaaaar gilerrr. Patutla masa check-in mamat tu tanya aku 'Ramai ni je kak ?' hahaha dan dengan itu aku declare...'Aku Kagum dan Vangga'.

1st day berlalu without any significant event except for ignoring 3 pouting kids who were not allowed to attack the pool yet. But we let them berkubang in our jacuzzi. Pastu dh sejuk2 keluar dinner kat tempat yg mmm how to describe that ah. No need lah.

Teaser for Langkawi Trip

Hahaha supo skalo....update blog lps setahun kejadian berlaku hahaha..

Aku super malas, kat opis bela b0ntot. I'm at the montel-est level now. Naik tangga 1 level cam lari 1km. Tido dh berdengkur2...Badan rasa x sedap manjang. Sapa soh diet b4 g travel, naik kemaruk hilang ingatan la kejapz.

Seblom aku upload gambor2 Langkawi sampai korang muntah, ni aku tujukan khas buat Sydde. Si ayam serama yg aku jumpa dlm reban (aci ke panggei reban ?) masa kat makam Mahsur1. Mmg aku snap gambor ni untuk hang...hahaha silalah terharu. Boleh la wat ubat rindu kat 'arwah' ayam ko yg apakenamanyantah.

BTW, dlm beribu riban kedai jual gamat kat sana, aku leh jumpa Ayu kat satu kedai gamat ni belah2 Cenang. Kat KL kemain susah nk jumpa, ni sampai 2x in 2 days. Day b4 dh cuit mencuit kat kedai pinggan mangkuk 1daman Sur1.
